Bombay Diner - Carlow

When she did come over to take our drink orders, I requested a bottle of red wine. She returned quickly to pour our glasses but then inexplicably took the remaining bottle away with her. We had to ask for it back, which was quite inconvenient. As for the food, it was decent, but my vindaloo was not as spicy as promised. My wife mentioned that she somewhat enjoyed her meal, but overall, the experience fell short of our expectations for a special night out. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had the worst service I've ever experienced at this restaurant. The staff seemed completely uninterested in attending to the tables. There was only one other couple dining besides us, yet the waiter appeared to be hiding from taking orders. He was quite unprofessional and forgot everything we ordered, bringing out only half of it. We had to remind him two or three times about our order. It was truly a frustrating experience. If you can’t remember anything, then why not use a notepad?

Awful! Never go back. Delivery Over an hour late, we live in Central carlow, about 10 minutes away! Told twice it was just round the corner. When it arrived it was cold! Honestly I don't complain or leave bad reviews but I'd hate anyone else to spend almost €80 and wait almost 2 hours for a meal that was cold especially when the takeaway is only ten minutes away) I'd usually just use collection in the future but in this case I won't go back.

This restaurant is fantastic, offering delicious food and a very friendly staff. Getting takeout from here is a real treat for movie night!

I’ve been ordering from Bombay Diner in Carlow for years, and my only regret is that I can’t come here every day. Without a doubt, they serve the best curry around, and the staff is very friendly. One of my favorites is the Nawaabi Godi, which is absolutely bursting with flavor—you really have to try it! I look forward to it as a treat whenever I can!
