Second Cup - Cardiff

This coffee shop has closed. There is a notice on the door that the landlord has repossessed the premise. A sad day as it had a friendly atmosphere and nice comfortable chairs

Good range of coffee blends and very helpful, friendly staff. Good WiFi and plenty of space inside if you need to catch up with stuff. Pleasant pavement cafe area too.

I stumbled upon this wonderful hidden gem. Despite its unassuming exterior as a typical neighborhood coffee shop, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and affordable coffee they served. The variety of coffee options, especially the different filter coffee choices, made it a great spot for a casual meet-up or simply to enjoy a quality cup of coffee.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Second Cup, one of my favorite coffee shops. I stopped in during my lunch break with only 15 minutes to spare, hoping to order a frozen chocolate cookies and cream drink. Unfortunately, there was a long line and only two employees working - a female serving drinks and a male taking orders. When the male finished taking orders, instead of helping the female to expedite the process, he just stood around. With limited time before returning to work, I asked for a refund. While they were willing to provide one, they were unable to open the till for some unknown reason. They then offered me a free drink, but I had to decline as I had to rush back to work. I ended up spending £3.55 for nothing. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service at Second Cup.

Two hours in trawling the shops with my teenager kids and the wife I just had to park my bum and take a chill. The coffee was brill no rush setting with lovely staff.
