Parsons Bakery Whitchurch - Cardiff

I go here for the veggie sausage rolls, they are delicious and at £2 for 2 not overpriced as vegan options in many places. They also do beautiful bread pudding (marked vegan) and the sourdough seems vegan friendly. When I frightened the sourdough, the person serving me was not very knowledgeable, but was happy to help, and we went through the Allergen lists together.

The food and selection at this restaurant are excellent, but unfortunately, the older lady who appears to be the boss is extremely rude. I asked for a decaffeinated cappuccino with oat milk and mentioned that I also wanted three separate savory and sweet items but only gave her the drink order first to not overwhelm her. She told me the price of the drink and then seemed frustrated when I requested the food items. Relax, it's a bank holiday weekend. Take it easy. You'll face tougher days ahead compared to what I just put you through.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is incredibly friendly. My favorite is the sourdough bread, but I recently tried the granary bread and it was also superb. They also have delicious pasties and cakes. What's not to love?

Hot drink and large sandwich was fab. Eat in or take away. Good value for money! Large selection of cakes. Staff are quick and polite.

In the heart of the village, this bakery is superb. Great breads, FANTASTIC ‘Sourdough’ wonderful pasties and cakes to die for!! Helpful, friendly and courteous staff. Eat “In” or “Take away”. RECOMMENDED
