La Renaissance - Cannes

We make point to visit this restaurant for a cheaper dinner in cannes. it is around the corner of the harbour and therefore they receive the same food for much less than on the strip. but this time something lacked service, and do not eat on standard. Maybe we were unhappy, but still good.

Our family of 5 just returned from a vacation in Europe and we traveled to many countries. I had to write a review about this restaurant. It was the best meal, service, that we received during our trip. We had many wonderful experiences, however, this...restaurant was a exceptional experience. The Manager Sofie went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We would highly recommend if your family is in Cannes, France to enjoy a meal here.

We had lunch here on a Sunday in January. it was not all that warm and the staff insisted on leaving the main door wide open so the restaurant was cold. The person who took our orders mixed everything up so we did not get...what we had ordered. (I was served mashed potatoes instead of rice, for example). The food was so-so. Nothing to write home about! There are lots of restaurants in the area and one can find better than la Marée.

I recommend La Maree for two reasons: its location by the beach and its fresh seafood. You can admire not only the sea and the yachts but also the mountains. The fish is fresh and equally important delicious. The service is attentive. If you plan...to be there on your birthday, make the reservation a week in advance and you'll get cake and champagne on the house.

Great location on the beach. service was good. I was most impressed by that worth. 3-course menu for €15, if most main dishes in other restaurants are €30! may not understand the negative reviews, I asked for a visit card to write this review!
