Bidrage med feedbackIf you're looking for Chicago style pizza, you won't find it here. A handmade pan from Domino's tastes much better, and is much thicker. The top of the pizza was doughy, and the sauce tasted fermented. I believe this place gets it's name from two Brits, and the Brits aren't exactly known for their food. Leave the pizza to people from the Windy City, guys. Food: 1 Service: 3

Deep dish pizza was hot and fresh. Crispy and cheesy and chewy. All good. Friendly staff will return when in the area. Oh it's take out or delivery .
When we have a hankering for taco pizza on our trips to Iowa, we usually go with the original at Happy Joe's, but on a recent occasion we decided to pick up from Wig Pen, as we were curious about how it would work as a deep-dish Chicago style pizza. Also, there were some in our group who are decidedly not fans of this particular concoction, so we had to choose a place that offered something a little more traditional. In addition to the taco pizza, we got one of their Union Jacks, which most closely resembles Giordano's special. With regard to the taco pizza, it differs from the Happy Joe's version in that it isn't made with refried beans, which I think is a critical component of a proper taco pizza. Still good, but not quite what I was looking for. The Union Jack was good, a very classic Chicago-style pizza. The crust was good, maybe just a little dry. In any case, this satisfied our cravings but we'll be getting one of those Happy Joe's originals soon.
We had our first pizza from Wig Pen a 14 thin crust with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and black olives. This is our new favorite pizza place in North Liberty! Love the crust and it was loaded with toppings and cheese. Only minor drawback is that we ordered online for curbside pickup but had to go in and pick it up. Not a big deal. We'll definitely be ordering again! Service: Take out
