Super friendly and helpful staff, great value drinks and a beautiful beer garden. What more could you want?

I came all the way fromm Germany to taste the most amazing vegan rhabarb crumble @The Abbey Tavern. My friends had tried different burgers which tasted great as well. Nice location, really friendly. I'll definetally come back.

We opted to sit outside which was a slight hassle as we had pushchairs and theres a few fairly narrow areas and steps to negotiate that you should be aware of. After getting settled in we had some drinks and ordered from the food menu, then we waited..and waited..and realised that the food wasn 't coming! It turned out that the printer in the bar wasn 't talking to the one in the kitchen so they had no idea we 'd ordered. The lady who took our order was very apologetic and did the right thing by offering us all free drinks while we waited for the second time! Fortunately when the food did arrive it was great! The burgers were juicy and 'dirty ' and the mac and cheese tasty too. Would 've been five stars had we not had to wait so long. The hot mess was a particular favourite!

My friend's annual birthday spot a really nice pub with very reasonable prices. Great outdoors area and atmosphere throughout a Saturday night is good for any size of group.

Great pub! Nice vibes and nice people. Great for sports. Food is OK, but some weird insistence on serving certain pints in throw-away plastic; convenient but probably bad for the world. Is it genuinely too hard to do their part? A
