Kami Japanese - Camden

We've had lunch at Kami four or five times. The food is consistently delicious their eel is outstanding! There's a quiet and pleasant ambiance and attentive and friendly service. Looking forward to the next time. Kentish Town Underground is closed until Summer 2024 but the overground station is within 200metres (just turn left out of the station) and there are lots of buses. Very highly recommended.

Lovely decor and has a nice vibe to the place. Recommend going for maki sushi as you get a lot more for your money. Didn't try the main dishes but they looked good and big portions! We had a nice wine and the staff were on the ball

We got the £15 lunch special which included miso soup, salad with delish dressing, veg gyoza and a main! So delicious and the staff were brilliant. Highly recommend! Right next to kentish town tube

Aesthetically pleasing restaurant and tasty food! I had the chicken yakitori and the chicken katsu curry don. The food was so filling but so good so I ate every bite. The rice was beautiful and the presentation of the dish was so nice. I wish I took a photo of the food but it looked so yummy I couldn’t wait. Servers provided us forks because we were awful at using spoons. The price was also very reasonable in my opinion. If I found myself in the area I would definitely come back, I only wish this restaurant was close to me because I know it would do so well!!! Only thing I noticed was that the servers did no check-back on the food but could probably guess from an empty plate there was no need in the end LOL

Great authentic Japanese restaurant, really good atmosphere and the staffs were very friendly. Would highly reccomend this place !
