Cambria Pines Lodge

Love the outside patio for lunch and the dinners are always good. Fun to eat in the bar with the entertainment.

Came here for a girls weekend. The place is super cute, so I'll give it that, loved the pool, but the food Maybe that's why the give you a free bottle of wine with stay...to drink till it taste good! There were 6 of us and we all ordered different food and it was all gross. My pork chop was dry, but even worse, they legit served BOXED mashed potatoes! So gross! I sent them back and asked for a baked potato, which came out cold, as did another friend who ordered something else that came with boxed mashed potatoes too. Friend ordered ciabatta burger and the bread was hard. Mushroom stroganoff was nothing to write home about, and our friends vegan curry meal...well she hardly ate any of it, and it just looked pretty gross. I would stay here again, even though our suite wasn't exactly clean, and I might even order food off the bar menu, but I certainly won't eat at the Lodge restaurant again.

My husband and I chose Cambria Pines Lodge for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. We both order the prime rib dinner and after we ate we wanted to be positive but we were both were disappointed in the lack of flavor. Our baked potato was barely warm and didn't melt the cold butter. My husband was using the salt shaker and found an insect. We reported it to one of the waiters. I found a dead cricket! We were asked by two different employees there, how was your dinner? Since they asked us we gave them the thumbs down sign. One employee said we should have return our food but since it was our anniversary dinner we didn't want to make an issue. So disappointed.

This place is our new family vacation spot. The pool is a good size for families, you can even bring in a drink from the bar (full bar). Beautiful gardens to walk around. We will definitely be coming back. Make sure to visit the garden center down the street. I could spend all day there!

Cambria Pines Lodge is simply stunning from the outside! Pulling into the ample parking lot I was impressed. Just off the main lobby is a nice looking bar area with fireplace, live music, etc. I could hang out there all evening. We were there for dinner though in the restaurant. I made reservations through their website which were easily honored, although they missed the part about it being our anniversary. Service was professional and efficient although rather impersonal. The restaurant overall is beautiful despite their seriously dated and somewhat tacky vinyl table cloths . I think we were definitely the youngest patrons here, which at the age of 50 was noticeable. Anytime I visit a new restaurant I always study the menu well in advance and know what I 'm going to order. I had my heart set on the Lobster Mac Cheese but was sadly informed they were out of . Even though we arrived at opening time. My Plan B was the Chicken Piccata which I really enjoyed. Prepared with capers, artichoke, etc in a delicious creamy sauce. Mashed taters were fresh tasting and well prepared. Veg side was tasty, seasoned and cooked to a nice al dente. My wife 's filet mignon was another chapter entirely but to make a long story short, it was re-fired and comped 50% thanks to the thoughtful manager.
