Bidrage med feedbackI have mixed feelings about the number of stars to give this restaurant. On one hand, I appreciate the cozy atmosphere and comfort food offerings. On the other hand, some dishes fell short of my expectations or were simply dull. The beef stroganoff was tender but overly salty, not to my liking. The chicken pancake had a nice crispy exterior and juicy interior, but lacked flavor. The colorful presentation of the meatloaf was appealing, but the dish itself was mediocre. The mac and cheese was underwhelming, though the salad was good and the queen's plate was impressive. The cheese plate was a highlight. The desserts, especially the apple and berry cakes paired with ice cream, were delightful. While I enjoyed the ambiance and service, the dining experience was somewhat lackluster despite the beautiful presentation. Would I return? Perhaps for the desserts.
We visited for dinner during the stay in cambria, as the restaurant was recommended by our inns guesthouses. the menu was large with many options. I went for the chicken pot and my man had the fish cake. my cake was okay, but nothing special. it wasn't a standout court. the accompanying was boiled quite hard and the baked on the cake was a bit dry. the fishcake of my manne had a good amount of seafood in that he was satisfied, but he said it was only lacking the sose that made it too dry together with the bake. we have decided not to have pudding, although the selection of the sweet options in the display cabinet looked beautiful, the lemon meringue pipe especially!
We were seated promptly and our server, Jake, was outstanding. Our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
During our last trip, we enjoyed a fantastic and light dinner at this restaurant. We savored a delicious crab cake with special spices, accompanied by a generous serving of mush. We chose to sit upstairs, where the atmosphere was a bit quieter.
We were whisked to our late lunch table and enjoyed a salad and sand dabs (dinner for lunch). Not much fish and oily, but still very good. Salad was also very good, a cobb salad. Efficient kind service. No dessert, but I would always suggest ollaieberry pie, when available. Back in the 1980s whilst on business I and my collaegues would drive from Paso to Cambria just to visit the fruit farm and grab a few personal size pies from her house. All that has changed, but the pies are still great.
