Bidrage med feedbackThis is an interesting, family-owned establishment. The interior resembles traditional sushi restaurants in Japan with its neat wooden counter and chairs right in front of the preparation area and table and chairs behind. The owner’s command of English is so-so. I was initially presented with one hard-copy menu with its listing of traditional Japanese fare but found that saki, which is in fact served and reasonably priced, was not listed. Seeing me somewhat perplexed, the owner then presented me with second hard-copy menu which differed significantly from the first because it was chock-full of thumb-nails illustrating each item. I compared both, and decided to order from the first one, concentrating both on the types of rolls with which I am familiar and on the types of fish. The selections were fine but the presentation was lacking that flair one associates with typical presentations. I’d eat here again because the fish was fresh and the owner hospitable in the extreme.
Expensive (by San Francisco standards) but good!
Very expensive for what it offers. the owner even shouted at me once for asking if he had mushroom brochettes.
Great food, great atmosphere and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend every fan of Japanese cuisine to check this place. Just the highlight of my visit to Caen.
Very good restaurant. The best Ramen ate and our son devoured the makis in cucumber. Very pleasant
