Bidrage med feedbackIndian restaurants in and around Buffalo often leave much to be desired, but this particular establishment is an exception. I visited with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The Chennai Chilli Chicken was a delightful change of pace, with tender, crispy chicken and a sauce that didn't overpower the dish. The Chettinad chicken and parotta, a go-to combination for me at Chettinad-style restaurants, was also well-prepared and delicious, although the parotta could have been slightly improved. The thalapakkati mutton biryani was the standout dish of the evening, the best biryani I've had in the Buffalo area. The rice was flavorful, the spice blend was perfect, and the mutton pieces, while some were a bit tough, were overall very good. I look forward to returning and hope the restaurant can maintain the quality of their dishes. I'll definitely be back soon.
We ordered biryani and parotta at this restaurant. The food was not great and the atmosphere was noisy with strange seating arrangements. We may try it once, but we won't be returning. They do offer vegetarian options.
The food at this restaurant is exceptional. The samosas and Tandoori chicken are particularly outstanding. I ordered a spicy chicken dish and the chicken simply melts in your mouth. I tried some of the other dishes my table mates had ordered and everything was delicious. I couldn't find anything I didn't like.
I have been to this restaurant in 2019 when they newly opened and loved the banana leaf meals that they gave. Went again last week and was disappointed that they no more serve banana leaf meals. Ordered thapakati biryani, panner fry, chicken 65 and fried rice. The veg was okay. There was a strange smell in the mutton biryani and the rice was too soggy. Chicken 65 was hard to bite and not fresh. Spent about 75$ for food that was not worth it at all. The lighting of the restaurant is very poor, they have very very dim yellow light , you can even see what you are eating. Never coming back.
This restaurant was reviewed in our local news, and we were interested in ordering its food. We enjoy Indian food, and its menu sounded unique. I obtained its menu on-line, and we ordered Tandoori Malai Jumbo Shrimp , Zaffroni Malai Chicken Tikka, and an order of Onion Kulcha. My husband picked up our order (who was unfamiliar with the cost), and when he arrived home, I was surprised to discover that the prices charged were not as advertised. There was an upcharge on each item. Rice is not included with any entree, so he asked for a side of rice and was charged $3.99. It was a very small portion, and only served one person. We are NOT big eaters! Our food was very good, however, given the cost of our takeout evening, I am hesitant to return.
