MTK/MIDTOWN Kitchen - Buffalo

That was delicious. the service is not so great. we really don't want to wait over 20 minutes for our check. I didn't get the water I asked. After our server has placed a drink on the table next to us, we have lost their attention.

Amazing eating, ambiente and service. the owner even visited our table to wish is a happy jubilee.

Our waitress and hostess were highly attentive and pleasant. But the menu options left MUCH to be desired. Very limited menu, barely found anything to eat for dinner. Ended up ordering wings and then heading to another restaurant up the street. Great looking spot but would never return for anything more than drinks.

I'm sad to say that this experience was really disappointing. Been to MTK before for drinks on a Sat night busy with dj, fun, typical bar experience. This time went for mom's bday; heard food was good. We had res for 730. There were 5 of us. 3 of us arrived early got specialty drinks at bar. Took a while to get them but it was fine (only about 3 others at bar being served with 3 bartenders on . The other 2 in our party arrived they said it would be a moment to seat us as they had to get the table ready. That's fine, too. As we sat we noticed there were only 2 other tables a 2 top and a 6 top. A man (who seemed to be the mgr sat us . Only brought 4 menus with him. Said he'd grab another; no biggie, my bf I shared. Took a while for the server to come over. Ordered drinks; they took FOREVER. In fact, I had to go to her at the bar to ask what was going on. (At this point my table is contemplating going to Thin Man across the street. She (our server said something happened with the ticket while the bartender said they weren't rang in. Feel like they were blaming each other. She came over and apologized. I said it was fine but in the meantime she could've come to our table, apologize for the delay take our order while the drinks were being made. She started to take our order, definitely seemed flustered. My mom ordered item off specials menu they were out of it! Why didn't she notify us of this before? Now we're really to the point of asking for our check to leave. Everything aside we decided to stay. The food came out in proper time but she screwed up one of the steaks because a sandwich came out. The meals did not arrive at the same time. I was almost done with my dinner when my mom's dinner finally arrived. Last round of drinks were not the drinks we ordered. Not sure what the bartender did but she made a different specialty one instead. They comp'd one round of drinks. Mgr never came over. Sad cause food was really good. Get new FOH staff keep cooks :

The restaurant was dead, the service was terrible. eat moderate and overpriced
