Gabriel's Gate - Buffalo

Gabriel's Gate is one of my favorite restaurants - they serve some of the best wings in the city.

The French Onion soup lives up to its reputation.... it is absolutely fantastic!!

The wings were average. We ordered them extra crispy, but they were not crispy at all. The server also gave our wing orders to the wrong people. Surprisingly, there were no free refills on soda. The roast beef was good, but not outstanding. The French onion soup was very cheesy and warm, but not hot. Gabriel's Gate used to be known for their great wings, but we were disappointed this time. The server was friendly, but we didn't receive much attention. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.

Heard a lot of hype about this place in terms of their wings but it was pretty disappointing. Wings in our opinion were not as good as Anchor bar or even Duffs, not to mention they don't have larger quantities available for order like the others wing spots. The beef on wec sandwich was also a bit of a sloppy mess.

I spent the weekend in Buffalo and was recommended this place by some friends for their Buffalo wings. It didn’t disappoint. I wish they were a bit crispier but otherwise they were excellent. I’m sure there are plenty of debates about who has the best Buffalo wings in Buffalo, but this place has to be near the top of the list.
