The Port Of Peri Peri - Buffalo Grove

Edit on 4 stars after the recognition of the owner desire to improve on customer experience. Chicken sometimes is dry and for some strange reason they would not let us order large Cassava pommes only regular size. In general, I will order again for their unique taste and Cassava frits.

Found multiple hairs in my food today. Scheduled pickup for 11:45, arrived then, and my food was sitting there cold.

Enjoyed the recommended chicken rice bowl. The herbs used to make the spice were quite tasty, however the bowl lacked variety, it was just chicken and rice. Quantity was good and would like to try the wraps or sandwiches next time around. The place appears to not currently allow dine in option.

This has to be the absolute WORSE experience I?ve ever had at a Port of Per Peri location. The Chicken, as you can see in the picture, looks something out of a Caucasian Thanksgiving dinner. The chicken was ABSOLUTELY DRY. There was no seasoning/sauce on the chicken at all. They also gave my mom a Spinach wrap with NO spinach wrap at all. They also told my mom off on the phone when she called to tell them about how bad they screwed up our order. This is absolutely disgusting behavior, especially coming from our desi muslim community. I hope that they improve the food and the customer service at the location as it very much lacks it, compared to their Villa Park and Sherville location.

Flavorful and juicy chicken breast (lemon herb) with rice...definitely 5 stars for this....the house salad is very typical..the wings (Cajun Peri) I ordered was too spicy for me to enjoy...I will try it again with less spicy.
