What can I say about the Rose and Crown? It is ****** brilliant. I had some friends visit me from Ireland over the weekend and I was keen to impress so I took them for a spot of lunch at the Rose Crown. My friends feedback It was one of the nicest pub lunches they have ever had even in Ireland ! I also treated them to a bottle of Prosecco for the occasion and was surprised to see it was a generous price of £37.95 as the quality was outstanding. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area and Sean 'our server ' was second to none. Regards

We ordered a bottle of Prosecco, a pint of beer , and a Coke Zero …. This came to £48 !!! We enquired re the Prosecco it was £37 a bottle !!! This is an absolute disgrace … I am a local I will not be returning and I will be spreading the word !!!

£37 for a bottle of Prosecco is daylight robbery. Should be £20 max. Will not be going back. No wonder these pubs complain they struggle.

Very impressed with food and service. We had a lovely lunch (4 of us plus 2 dogs) and a walk in the woods behind the pub. Recommend the fishcakes, pie, steak and omelette. The service was excellent and our waitress, Caitlin, was quick to provide everything we needed and in a very efficient and friendly manner. Lovely pub.
