Winner Winner Chicken - Brisbane

We used to come to this restaurant every Sunday for months and it was always great. However, on our most recent visit, everything was different. The fries were soggy and the burgers tasted rancid and stale. I called the owner to complain and he seemed uninterested, simply offering me a $40 replacement meal. It was clear he had no intention of addressing the issue. Good luck to anyone who continues to dine here.

This cafe is a welcome addition to Ballarat, offering generous servings and excellent dishes like the chicken pliers with perfectly balanced spiciness. We also enjoyed a refreshing glass of coconut and beetroot juice. The chips were cooked to perfection and the salad was fresh. Kudos to the chefs for putting a stylish twist on classic meals.

We contacted the staff at Winner Hot Huhn directly through UberEats but received no replacement order, compensation, voucher, or genuine apology for our poor experience. We even received rude responses from the restaurant staff when we contacted them through the phone number listed on their website. We only filed a formal complaint to vent our frustration. Our family went hungry that night and we couldn't afford to buy another meal for the five of us as all other food places had already closed by 11 pm. We went to bed hungry and $40 poorer. We have decided to never use UberEats again for deliveries and strongly advise others to save their money, especially if they have children to feed.

Personally didn't love the chicken as much as I was expecting too. The original is very spicy still. Throughout the night, heaps of uber and delivery guys were coming in and waiting for orders. Seems most of their business is done through that. Staff seemed...really stressed the entire time and didn't relax or ask how meal was. Would not return much better chicken and service elsewhere
