We are regular diners in shafston hotel we go there mainly because of the service. eating is always good and the friendly chef seems to find the time to visit the tables that is a sign of continuous quality improvement for the hotel. it always makes our visit so much better when luisa is there as she is a bright and cheerful young woman who goes beyond the call to make our visit special, and is a real advantage for the hotel.

The salat that comes with the steak is under the normal standard. not as much as usual and not well dressed, more like a side salad. the menu also needs an update, it was good when it was first reworked, but it is a past.
