Osteria Epoca - Brisbane

Excellent grub!the pickled vegetables were lovely.Barbequed octopus salad was very authentic.Homemade sausages and Italian coleslaw was unbeatable.The staff were very attentive and we enjoyed the Spritzers!

Close to public transport this restaurant was a great find. Authentic Italian food with a modern twist in a relaxing and chic environment with choice of indoor and alfresco dining. Service was excellent and menu provided a range of interesting and tasty dishes while the wine list was thoughtful. A quick check of the deli revealed some interesting products which means a return visit in the near future. Three of us enjoyed a long leisurely lunch. A good dining experience.

The service to order was prompt and the wait time for six meals was about average. The six of us all enjoyed our selection of three different meals. The meal size was generous an improvement from an earlier visit. The restaurant was busy and we were pleased we had booked.

First time here after recommendation by a friend. Very welcoming by 2 Italian gentleman (owners?), comfortable seating, quite crowded on a Saturday night (bookings essential). Quick service, nice menu card, good modern choices plus the traditional Italian dishes, some with a twist. Food very tasty and well prepared, good wine list. Not cheap, but worth it.Indoor and outdoor seating, somewhat chilly on a cold winter' night, so indoors preferred, away from the door to the al fresco area as there is a lot of traffic and the door keeps on being opened and shut.

Excellent food and great service in a stress free location. Plenty of free on street parking, across the road from a small park for kids to play in before or after lunch. Well thought out design, with three sections, deli/cafè/shop and restaurant and bar, and very nice alfresco dining deck out the back too if you don't want to eat inside.
