Bidrage med feedbackI had the Char Kway Teow which was fantastic tender beef, lots of flavour, good 'breath of the wok ' and best of all no MSG after thirst! Yum from a Malaysian!
There’s an old adage that the dingier the Asian restaurant, the tastier the food. And though we’re not strictly applying this rationale to Little Malaysia, what this quaint indoor/outdoor outlet in the bustling heart of West End lacks in bells and whistles, it certainly makes up for in authenticity and the ability to please with every bite. If impressively speedy and friendly service – both during peak dinner trade and quieter periods – makes for exactly the kind of casual dining experience you seek for a midweek date or weekend boozy dinner, take note of this quiet achiever.
It may not look like much, but the food at Little Malaysia punches above its weight.<br/ In particular, the Little Malaysia Mongolian Chicken is really great. My favorite Malaysian/Thai restaurant in Brisbane.<br/ <br/ Very good value for money!
This Malaysian restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere and a genuine vibe. It offers good value and allows you to bring your own wine (there is a bottle shop nearby). I may not be a Malaysian food expert, but I have tried enough to distinguish between the good and the bad. I ordered the Nasi lemak and it was excellent. I will definitely be coming back.
We had lunch at this restaurant today. It was just my husband and me, and we were the only ones there since it was just before noon. The food was fantastic. We started with roti and curry sauce as an appetizer, which was very delicious. For our main courses, I had sambal chicken with coconut rice and my husband had massaman beef with coconut rice. Both dishes were extremely tasty and satisfying. I wanted to try the deep fried ice cream, but I was too full to fit it in. We'll have to save it for next time.
