Visited this restaurant three times in the last 2 years. They had exactly the same dish in the menu for vegetarian mains. The food is nice but will be great to have a different menu. Every time we asked them if there is any plan for changing the menu and they said, yes SOON : . Service is slow too.

Can I just say...rare is the kind of chef in the hospitality arena these days that still manages to convey a genuine sense of the word 'hospitality '. Covet restaurant has truly found a diamond in the rough. Always a pleasure to dine here. Thank you Duncan xx

Valentines Day. Great food and atmosphere and an enjoyable way to spend valentines day from having pre-dinner drinks in the bar while listening to music to a delicious 3 course meal with plenty of options from braised pork belly and melt in the mouth scallops for entree to twice cooked braised duck risotto to share desert of creme brule that was to die for.

Hidden Gem in Toowong.. Last Friday I had the pleasure of eating at the Covet Restaurant in the Jephson Hotel in Toowong. What a hidden gem. The restaurant is set up in an casual but clean setting. It has the feel of a quality dinning establishment, but also can bring to it a lovely casual feel. I was there for a business meeting. I had the pan seared Bara on a corriander foam fish of the day) it was cooked to perfection and the serveing was just the correct size. My client had the chicken and based on her coments, was outstanding. Price was on the mark. The wine we had was the wonderful NZ Sav balnc TWR. It was full of all those wonderful NZ Sav Blanc expectations. We finsihed with a nice coffee.The staff are friendly and nothing was a problem. This place is well worth a visit. Do yourself a flavor, and get to Covet at the Jephson Hotel....I will be back....This time for a more loooonger exploration of there menu.
