Cosi - Brisbane

What a great little find and a great way to finish off our holiday whilst on a layover with connecting flights.We accidentally found this little treasure while walking down Sandgate Rd looking for an evening meal. People attract people and when we saw a nice crowd thought we would pop in without a reservation. Sam quickly found us a table for two. We were not disappointed as our meals were on our table even before our drinks arrived, someone needs to give Helen a hand behind the bar as Sam appears to have plenty of help in the kitchen but poor Helen is waitress, bar person and cashier; you rock Helen.I think the locals of Clayfield have woken up to this and help out by turning up with their bottles of wines.Thank you for a great evening, friendly service, great food and warm atmosphere.

Just happened to call in, as we were passing by and fancied pasta. They were closing up around us as it was quite late on a weekday night, clearing chairs away (which seemed like a bit of a military operation) but the food was amazing!!! My boyfriend and I both had the starter of homemade bread stuffed with cheese, garlica and herba, such a change from the boring garlic bread pizza, then the mains were even better. I had Cannelloni Cosi, which was cannelloni filled with spinach, ricotta and mincemeat, served in a napolitana sauce, topped with mozzarella and baked it was to die for!!! By boyfriend went for carbonara, but it was to die for! the presentation and portion sizes were fantastic, and the hostess was keen to check everything was ok without being overpowering, the kitchen was quick, but you could see everything was being made fresh. Not cheap, but for the freshness and portion size its good value.

Loved the authentic Italian food and warm hospitality.. very friendly staff made us feel welcome.. boys and girls from work enjoyed the meal and Vowed to come back. I am a local and visit here often drawn back by the true Italian flavour and simply fantastic taste and aroma

Just to advise that Cosi our favourite family restaurant has closed as such and the OHIO Café from next door taken over the premises. So sad to see Sam and Helen close but wish them the very best in their retirement we are missing you already.

This is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food with very friendly staff who make you feel at home. They cater for children and adults.
