Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed at the connected ibis hotel and enjoyed dinner here. the hotel staff has reserved us, but on Saturday evening in October it was not necessary. all employees were very polite, respectful and helpful. our dinner was delicious and pretty. after the order. the prices were correct. there was a lot of space between other diners and a pass sanitaire was required before you sit. If we stay here again, we would like to eat here.
Service was good but the food was hit and miss. The salmon was grilled to perfection but the baked potato was cold and we had to request a replacement which was hot. mains, deserts, water and a bottle of wine came to
Convenient for those staying at the nearby Ibis Hotel, this restaurant has a big grill where you can see that the food is grilled just in front of you. It serves mainly steaks, burgers, grilled meat, but also or fish courses. I had...grilled seabass with salad, then Camembert cheese as a dessert. The bill was euro.
Since this restaurant is adjacent to an Ibis Hotel, it is a convenient stop for an evening meal while staying at the hotel. The food is average. It is family oriented and the staff efficient. I would not choose it for an evening out but as a hotel guest it was passable.
This is the restaurant which is in the Ibis building. Like mentioned by the other reviews, we were offered bread & salad, but the bread is the worst we had in a 4 days stay in Normandy & Britanny and Salad is slapped just too much thousand island dressing with the salad leaves not fresh. We asked for an Entrecot Rib steak "a point" (Medium), but out come the toughest steak (tougher than Rump steak of silvercut joint) I had on earth which is rare, which is hardly surprising, as they are cooked on the "open-kitchen" by staff who does cleaning, cooking as well as serving! The poor duck- I could only imagine had either been left in the overn all day or over-fried it is completely dry. They do offer unlimited sides. The vegetables are sides are left there for waiters to pick up. The Baker potato is very nice (though a little burnt having been left probably for the whole day), the beans itself are completely dead & soggy (understandable for something left for the whole day).Dessert is extremely sweet. In terms of service, we were fortunate enough to be met by probably the only waitress who is nice & speak reasonable English, though a bit clumsy like dropping cutleries. The worst experience is with the Maître d'hôtel. On seeing review about discounts being offered to the 2 local Ibis, I asked about it and was was replied "No Anglais". Then, I asked about the discount in French and was asked back if I was a a customer there to which I answer yes, but then no discounts. McDonalds opposite would have been a better choice!
