Farquharson’s - Braemar

This pub and kitchen is fantastic! We spent several nights here, and Matt, the owner, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about whiskies. The atmosphere is wonderful, featuring a lovely area with leather sofas situated next to a cozy wood burner. I highly recommend this place!

I had a fantastic dining experience with excellent service. The quality of the food was outstanding, and everything was cooked to perfection! We stopped here while traveling, and it was a wonderful find. The venison casserole tasted like home-cooked comfort, and the meat was cooked just right. The ham with haggis was also delicious!

Cracking little space, I don't give 5 stars ready, but, warm, service and quality are great here, spinat and mozzarella ball starter, followed by a haggis suede and tatties pornstar, all washed with a little fine ale. absolutely delicious, I am safest tomorrow for another meal, well made young

I believe all pubs should take note of how things are done here! The food is excellent, and the staff are amazing—both friendly and efficient. The Guinness is perfect! Even though it was busy, the staff remained very welcoming, making it a true pleasure to eat and drink in this pub. I highly recommend it! I just wish they were a little closer to Birmingham. Great job, Young's!

Had really hearty and tasty haggis, neeps and tatties (which fuelled a 2hr walk after) and there's a great selection of Scottish IPAs. The staff's incredibly friendly and very happy to offer hiking and walking tips! And the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming.
