The Flying Stag - Braemar

The food was delightful, the staff was exceptional, and with a storm brewing outside, the atmosphere was just perfect. Since we are staying at the Fife Arms, we are excited to try the other restaurants. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dish: Steak and Frites.

I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. The food was just average; the fondue had very little meat, and the bread was quite hard. Overall, it wasn't a great experience for me.

This place was fantastic. Lovely place for lunch on our day in the town. For the love of God don't get the chicken salad. It was a fine salad, but the haggis neeps and tatties with whiskey sauce was fantastic. If you are traveling like I was, you are not in Scotland to eat salad. Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair and the staff was great with our baby. Bonus: the haggis neeps and tatties was loved by our 10 month old. Food: 5
