The Ox - Bracken Ridge Australia

I come into the public bar most weeks for the lunch special. In the last two years I've had no problem with the food, the staff are always friendly.

Love the Ox 's deals, especially the Wednesday night special getting the second meal for $10.00.<br/ <br/ The first time I went there I had the Oxley hotel signature grill which was fantastic. Delicious and the portion was huge. It is a dear price to pay for for eating in a pub, $39.99. But I would definitely grab a friend to go back there on another Wednesday.<br/ <br/ Yet, when I went there a different night and ordered fusion fish of the day that was a different story. The marriage between a nicely cooked barramundi and some boy choy seem okay. But adding tomato chutney in, that is really 'three 's a crowd '. I have to give the dish some credits though. They were all cooked very nicely individually.<br/ <br/ Bruachetta is hard to screw up, but the Turkish bread tasted old. It isn 't something I would order it there again.

Simple, friendly, fast and delicious. Fish is fantastic. Calamari great!

Any fish we had at the Ox was AWESOME. Their calamari antipasti is delicate, right balance of salt pepper simply great! Quick, friendly service.

Been here a few times and not disappointed. Seated relativity fast ordered meals and came out fast and were happy with our meals be here again soon.
