Friendly people tasty imaginative salads, tried roast vege salad couscous salad. With OK coffee a small sweet biscuit we were fortified to keep shopping. Will come here again next time I visit...
Got some takeaway salads and a spinach puff, all of which were great. So much food for such a low price. Will definitely come back. Would recommend the lentil and rice salad or any of the baked items
Located at a prime position opposite to one of the shopping centres at Wynnum, this cafe starts trading very early in the morning. By judging the seating in the al fresco area, I can imagine there should be packed of customers during the peak hours. Just ordered a flat white for a break, look at the set-up which reminds me the old style snack bar. The Abrisca Coffee is pretty alright and quite earthy in taste. It is not a bad choice for coffee break.
We enjoyed a share platter here on a sunny Sunday with the pooch in tow there was enough food for the three of us! I think the platter was around $25 for two there was a huge mound of tabbouleh, chicken lamb skewers, falafels, vine leaf rolls, hommous, olives etc was just delicious. The guys serving were super friendly only problem I had was the coffee although it presented very well was creamy smooth, was not enough of a hit for me, they willingly made me another though
YUMMO!!!! The olive cafe/the green olive. Not sure of the exact name, but the bright green chairs stand out on bay terrace. This place has great coffee and fantastic food. A real feature is the Lebanese food, am addicted to the kafta wrap.. yummo... but it is so good and so so reasonable. The muffins are delicious as they are home made on site. Wynnum has really changed and with places like this it will be the suburb to be.
