Bidrage med feedbackI’ve been to Motto Motto multiple times and I have never been disappointed. The ramen was great (big fan of Red and Udon), the rice bowls were great (Mum loves the Poké and the Seared Salmon), the Chicken Karaage curry was great and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The sides, including edamame, miso soup, fries and krokke are also super tasty. The matcha ice cream was fantastic and pushed this review to 5 stars.
We’ve been here a few times but they just recently revamped the menu and I have to say I am super impressed. The ramen was delicious. So was their Pokebowls sashimi grade baby! Oh. And bonus. Never knew that these guys also own Sono!
Re-visited this eatery last night and it was a busy weekday's trading. Perused the menu and discovered some new dishes on the menu so gave it a go. We ordered a bento set of New Style Chirashi and a Ramen of RED with extra Krokke. <br/ The bento came to the table first, which looks spectacular with miso soup, edamame, chicken karaage and the Chirashi. The Chirashi is composed of fresh sashimi grade of salmon, tuna and scallop with cooked prawns, avocado, sesame seeds and seaweed. The taste is so well balanced with the yuzu dressing. Chicken karaage is a surprising hero of the night. The light batter and soft juice texture really win my appreciation. The “RED” did not let us down. The spot-on spiciness broth is rich in flavour and the noodles are al dente. Hero is the tenderised pork belly slice, which is thick-cut and is served in generous portion. This ramen will definitely satisfy any pork-belly fans. If the edamame was steamed instead of fried, miso soup can have stronger flavour and the ingredient of Krokke can be more solidified, this dinner would definitely achieve full marks. However, extra-mark should be granted for the nice contemporary lay-out and the friendly service there. <br/ Rating 4.5/5 <br/ <br/ April 27, 2016 Rating 4.5/5 <br/ Heard about this eatery is the sibling of a renowned Japanese restaurant in Brisbane during the grand opening, Finally, we arranged time to have dinner couple of weeks ago. Set-up is nice and spacious with modern deco. Staff are very friendly and well trained. Standard of food was surprisingly higher than expected, particularly the Red Classic Ramen and the NYA Curry Panko Pork. Soup base of Raman and the Chasiu deserve thumb up and I love the Japanese rice that they are serving which matches the specific taste of Japanese Curry. Overall, we should be proud of having such quality Japanese eatery in Brisbane.
This restaurant was surprisingly good! I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as what it turned out to be. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with rice and my partner ordered the pork belly with rice. Both dishes were tasteful and cooked quite well. The pork brisket melted in your mouth. Highly recommended and would definitely see myself returning here in the near future!
Exceptional food at very good prices. Been to Japan twice now, seeking edgy modern Japanese and this place gives me my fix without the 10hr flight! the decor is spartan, but clean, modern and fun. the service is above average also.
