The service is acceptable,curs are not the traditional way, but unlike the USA and accepted beef cuts, so do not expect a pork nativity to be cut long as in the USA, but cut into pieces, against bones, such as beef ribs, or other beef cut. The pork ribs in pieces are smoked and good taste. It's a chic restaurant, but good enough for lunch. You can find local soups and other Colombian typical dishes
Family style smoked and BBQ beef restaurant with pork, beef, lamb and chicken cook right the old llanero style.Service is acceptable ,curs are not the traditional way, but contrary to the US and more accepted beef cuts, so do not expect a pork rib to be cut length way , as in US ,but cut in pieces,against the bone, same as beef ribs,or any other beef cut.Still the pork ribs in pieces are smoked and good flavor.It is nit a fancy restaurant, but good enough to have lunch.You can find local soups and other Colombian typical dishes
En Hato Grande encuentras una enorme variedad de platos colombianos, en especial de Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Santander y Llanos Orientales. Te sirven unas porciones gigantescas y la comida es en realidad deliciosa.El lugar tiene una decoración típica, con aire costumbrista. Algunos fines de semana tienen música en vivo con tríos o conjuntos llaneros.Recomendadísimo el plato de tres carnes (a elección), las arepas boyacenses, el guacamole y el postre de natas (hay muchísimos postres, pero el de natas es espectacular).En pescados no me parece demasiado notable. En carnes de res y de cerdo sí.Un restaurante para un plan familiar o de negocios.
