Windy City Wieners - Bloomington

This is undoubtedly the top spot for hot dogs! The service is excellent, and the food is fantastic!

The cashiers are always friendly, but it's still my favorite spot. They have MILD SAUCE, for real!

The food is enjoyable, but the atmosphere could use some updating. Overall, it's a good value for the price.

I visited Great Maxwell St. for a Polish sausage on November 8, 2022, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. It tasted just like a hot dog, and when I asked the guy behind the counter, he insisted it was a sausage, but I couldn't agree. It didn't have the qualities of a true Polish sausage at all. I really wish they'd stick to the authentic recipe. I'm a huge fan of Polish sausage, but I can't stand hot dogs, and that's exactly what it tasted like. It’s going to be a while before I return.

The restaurant was extremely over-priced. We ordered two hot dogs, fries, and drinks, and it came to $12, which is ridiculous. The place was dirty; the tables were sticky, and the bathrooms were disgusting. The staff was not great either. I found the chicken sandwich to be disappointing, although the fries were actually fantastic.
