Absolutely filthy place , cocktails on the menu watered down cocktails. The menus covered in horrid filth . How is this place still open

I read reviews these days before i will go to a place, i think birmingham pubs clubs have always been greedy overcharging people. i remember night clubs actually turning the taps off so that people clubbing were forced to buy water at a rip off price at the bar. this was very irrisponsible because at the time lots of people were taking ecstasy pills the club was very hot inside with massive queues at the bar. i read a news story about how this place had charged people 40 pounds each person just to watch the football , thats just greed i read the response about there being some music on ...a band or a dj but that is not a good enough excuse to cash grab like that i wont be going to this place ever because of it/

Lovely late night Saturday night venue. We’d had a fabulous meal and decided to continue our evening at Velvet Rooms. Great music of different genres. Good for all ages. Definitely will revisit.

Fantastic range of cocktails at good price and hearty food. Fab atmosphere with plenty to look at. A group of 6 of us had an after Christmas catch up, we chose Velvet as an easy place for us to meet and intended on moving on to other venues but stayed all night. Staff were very attentive, value for money. Will be back soon.

Meeting up with friends we decided to have a light snack and noticed the venue offered boneless wing deals. What a fantastic idea and wow they tastes amazing! The whole venue had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Highly recommend to anyone. An independent bar well worth a visit. Thank guys
