Raphael's Coffee Lounge - Birmingham

I came on my way home from sutton coldfield today and looked for a coffee. it looked beautiful from the outside, so went in. I then saw the menu and realized that it was full of all my favorite food, so decided to stay lunch, and I am so glad that I did. on the photo they have the three mezze that I had halloumi, weeping leaves and meatballs, along with the softest, most beautiful pitta brot, and a perfect black coffee. I have absolutely loved it and will in any case again the only thing I personally do differently next time is probably order a kind dip instead of the weeping leaves because as much as they tasty the pitta is too good to not dip into something! completely recommend this place to everyone, it is a new favorite of me!

Excellent also for non-Greek food lovers! my hubby loves Greek eating while I sadly don't- I was so wary to go here, but knowing that my joyfulness stuffs him with food he enjoys. the menu is so huge and a regular brunch menu (not like some places where it is English eating and they feel so respectful! is so diverse. also a great children's menu. hubby enjoys Greek eating quite obviously! so fresh and in portions are generous. highly recommended

I always choose this restaurant in Wylde Green because the Greek food is consistently fresh and delicious, at a reasonable price for the generous portion sizes. This place is always reliable, as they never disappoint! The staff is friendly, the appetizers are amazing, and the fresh orange juice is delightful.
