Pete's Pan - Birmingham

Went to this restaurant tonight and paid £12 for fish and chips, as well as £6 for a mini portion. The mini portion was extremely small and couldn't even fill up my kids! The food was tasty, but the portions were disappointingly small and the prices were too expensive. I will not be returning again.

I stopped here on a whim to grab some food. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The chicken kebab meat and chips were delicious and served hot. It was slightly oily, but that's expected with most kebabs. The fried chicken was also tasty, with a good crisp coating.

The mini fish and chips serving size was perfect for a child, but the amount of chips provided for the price was unreasonable. Potatoes are inexpensive! I only tried this restaurant based on a recommendation, but I won't be returning. I'll stick to my regular chip shop, May Lane. Additionally, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.

Always very very consistent with their food, bit pricey but you get what you pay for. probably the best in this local area

Pete and his good lady cook the best fish and chips in Birmingham, service is always first class. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
