Bidrage med feedbackIn a prominent place opposite a sainsbury local in moseley village, you will find a gourmet delight in the form of ‘Nima Delicatessen’. if they are a more familiar and appreciate cosmopolitan food from all over the world, they will love it. chocolate from belgien schweiz, baklava and other sweets from the middle east, seasoned from india far east and so many other foods from every corner of the planet. there are also vegetarian, halal, kosher, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free product options, so everyone for. They are hard pressed to find a delicatessen in birmingham that keeps such a large selection of product lines. I spend at least 20 minutes on each visit, and both herr and woman nima are very friendly and welcoming. they give suggestions on the means of life and answer all the questions they can have. the prices tend to be a bit on the expensive side, but they resort to high-quality foods that they usually do not find in Britain or even in other delicacies for this occasion, so this is to be expected. go and look at them, and I am sure they will be thrilled to stumble on a product they have never tried. the joy of discovering and tasting a new food they enjoy is certainly one of the rare joys of life.
Large variety of foods for which they can not only come in sainburys. good vegetarian / vegan selection. I love popping when I'm over to a pot oliven or a few cannoli (I hope my man doesn't read that.) the gentleman who runs this little one is very knowledgeable and helpful, although I think I'm testing his geduld when I fall on the way home from work for something, but he has in the rule what I need!
This charming independent delicatessen offers an impressive selection of high-quality foods. It's an excellent spot to discover those hard-to-find ingredients, especially for European, North African, and Middle Eastern cuisines.
That was by far my favorite shop in all of Birmingham, especially for dining. It was utterly unique, featuring an amazing selection of products from around the world, including a significant variety of vegetarian and vegan options. I found the couple who ran the place to be charming and helpful. The interior, though quiet and slightly chaotic, had its own charm and always rewarded those who took the time to browse the shelves with something new to discover and enjoy. Even the sign above the door was a visual delight. Unfortunately, the couple who ran the shop have retired, and it is now permanently closed. I wish them a very happy retirement, but I will miss this place dearly.
Nima is located in Moseley, and I've been in and around the area for over 35 years. Nima's warehouse is fantastic, and I often leave with more items than I initially planned to buy because they offer such a wide variety of interesting and delicious products.
