Lung Wah - Birmingham

One of the curries from a large order was served to my son, who unknowingly ate it despite the chicken and beef not being properly cooked. Due to his autism, he was unable to recognize the undercooked food. Upon inspecting the second curry, I found raw chunks of beef and chicken. Initially, I declined a refund and waited a week to see if we would get sick. Luckily, besides a slightly upset stomach, we were fine. I sent photos to the manager via the agreed email address but received no reply after 10 days. When I followed up by phone, I was informed that the owner would not issue a refund due to new management. This lack of response and refusal to refund was unacceptable. I demanded a refund for my order or for the curries, along with a goodwill gesture. I will never order from this restaurant again. It is their loss as my family and friends, who used to order regularly, will no longer patronize Lung Wah.

Ordered from this place 4 times, ordered again and the delivery driver said he couldn’t find address was really rude and refused to deliver. Called restaurant and they were very unhelpful and told us they weren’t coming out again and told me to order from another Chinese! waited 1 hour 45 mins and no food !

I live nearby and can confidently say that this restaurant has been around for a long time and I have never heard anything negative about it.

I have been visiting this restaurant for years and the quality has always been consistently good. The beef dishes are tender and well priced, and the service is quick and friendly.

Avoid!! Last month we ordered from here 3 chicken curries and none of them were cooked, completely raw. The owners response to our uncooked food was shocking, he had no compassian even to the fact that my brother who is autistic and ate uncooked food having no understanding. After a week of waiting for a response we was told they can't refund us due to being under new management. Discusting after been regulars for over 20 years.
