Lovell's Bakery - BIRDWOOD

I had a cold, wet, and miserable day riding my motorbike. The restaurant was warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The store was well stocked and followed Covid guidelines. There was limited parking but good street parking available. I will definitely visit again.

I am so glad we chose this bakery for a delicious and convenient lunch after visiting the National Car Museum (which is open on Sundays). They offer a fantastic selection of pies, including Stroganoff, Bangers and Mash, and Pulled Pork, as well as a variety of cream buns, pastries, scrolls, and donuts. They also have a sandwich bar with fresh ingredients where you can customize your sandwiches. The coffee was also excellent. Overall, it is a high-quality bakery with something for everyone and plenty of seating for dining in. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has a charming ambiance and offers a variety of delicious baked goods, especially desserts. The coffee is also quite good. Additionally, there is a thrift store connected to the café and the restrooms are nice. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. It is a suitable place for kids. While you could bring a laptop to work, it may not be the best place to read a book.

A big shout out to the two young women who served us, a group of 18 cyclists around 10am yesterday. You did a really friendly, professional job of getting us all served quickly and without error. Well done
