Mount Pleasant Bakery

A usual stop over on a wednesday with the bike club. Haven't been for a month arrive solo to be greeted with a new door. The bestest maxamus ham salad sandwich so good that I had to eat it all. Plus I always sample bakery vanilla slice. The fruit mince pie looked great so i had to have one take away. Cheers to everyone for Xmas. Cheers beachy

Surf and Turf pie was delicious but the highlight was absolutely the Cornish Pastie. Chunky vegetables, plenty of meat & nicely seasoned. No sauce required! Get yourself in there for a Cornish pastie ASAP. Tip: be early as they sell out but once you taste them, you will see why! Perfection!

Pasties were delicious, lots of fillings and thin pastry. Coffee also delicious. Eat in or also a cute area across the road with tables and playground.

Baked on premises goods what could be better. An extensive range of pies available and cakes to suit every taste, exceptional coffee and great service. You pay more for a visist but as the saying goes 'you get what you pay for' and you get top quality at this unassuming bakery.

Pasties were great. Kitchener buns with fresh cream,and good coffee too. Great place to stop while driving through the hills
