La Brasserie Macao - Berny-Riviere

What a disappointment! Booked for a special night with friends and chose the set menu 32 euros each choice of snails, pate or soup, beef bourginon or veg raviolli and a dessert. Food was out of packets and of a very poor standard. None of us finished our meals as it was so bland. They only ordered 3 out of the 4 meals so one of our party had to wait, but not that long reinforcing the packet nature. The veggie option was supposed to come with stirfried veg, but was served with birds eye frozen veg mix. Total bill was over 210 Euros. We told the server the meal was inedible bit they didn't ask why just shrugged, so I guess they knew it was awful. Appears to have changed name to Brasserie Willo, but the restaurant was the same as the picture

A large group of us, adults and kids were really well looked after and had a lovely meal. We had made no booking and they accommodated us all on the spot, despite being very busy. They also managed the bill throughout to allow ease of paying by family.

Just been to this restaurant. And would like to say that it has to be the worst food I've had in a long time. I ordered the duck. And it was tasteless. Chewy. And the side dish was supposed to be mash potatoes. But was actually mushed carrot with swede. I was hoping my visit to France would come up with some lovely food experiences. But it seems they have lost their way when it comes to thier own world famous dishes. Shame

Don’t be put of by the small menu. This restaurant gives you a true taste of France with snails and foie gras. Or if you want a great burger they can do that too. We went times and enjoyed it every time. The two lads are great and speak good English.

We visited this restaurant 3 times in one week. I’m fussy so for us to go back 3 times shows how good. Service was always good. 2 waiting staff so if it’s busy they will get to you. They are organised. Food very good. Limited menu but it’s all cooked well. Beef was superb.
