Bgigi - Bergamo

Opens early, with a wide selection of pastries, cakes and coffee. Inside and outside seating is available too.

One of few places open early (7.30 am). Great service and pretty good coffee pastry. Would recommend for early risers.

We were lured by the waitress, to choose a dish and a drink (except beer and wine) for 10€. We paid more than agreed, because the waitress forgot to say that coke was not included in the 10€ menu. When confronted with our complain, she just said sorry.

Price and quality were good. Very friendly waitress, good wine (though the local wine was less good than the wine from Tuscany). Vegan options available, and tasty.

Staying in Bergamo and difficult to get coffee to go but Bgigi is the place if staying in Citti Alta. They do a variety of pastries and cake. Plenty to take away. You can sit in or outside for meals as well.
