Waffle House - Benson

I left this place! Had also a great time and the food was absolutely AWESOME. Watch the cook, Sam! He needs his time to make sure that the food looks quality and tastes just as good, instead of rushing the food and possibly burning like what happens a few times in my last experience! The food tasted great and I love mushrooms and Sam dressed me! He also has a great music taste. I for a LOVED this experience in this waffle house and will go back again when Sam is the barbecue op:

A very busy but efficient fast food restaurant the staff although busy did pass the time of day. My food was served up hot tasty and more than I could eat great value for money.

Just off I-95 South near Benson NC, we stopped to have lunch. Friendly waitress and the place was clean. Ordered the Steak and Cheese Bowl. Was disappointed that the meat was "steakums "and the cheese melted into a solid instead of creamy. Will not order again. ?

I can't complain one bit. It was a little hectic for the staff, so a little slow getting my order out, but it was hot and perfectly cooked. Eggs over easy, were over easy. Hash browns extra crispy, were extra crispy tender in the middle, and not burnt. I'll take slow and accurate any day over fast and wrong. My server was wonderful. Friendly, accommodating, and neither overbearing nor intrusive. She kept every area she passed clean, and was quick to refill my drink as well as those of the others she was serving. Was glad to get a good hot breakfast for dinner meal here after driving 8 hours, with another 2 to go. Will stop again if passing through again.

Stopped here on the way from the Meadow Christmas Lights. Super Excellent service, we were treated so friendly from the time we walked in the door till we left. The food was very good, would love to visit again one day.
