Camber - Bellingham

Came here for an unsweetened matcha latte and food. Was disappointed the kitchen was not open, cause the menu really sounds divine! I will definitely come back someday to sample the kitchen. Ended up getting a hojicha latte with oat milk. Drinks were a bit pricey but I think it is worth it. I like these kinds of artisan coffee places for special treats to myself once a season or so, which this was one of those occasions. I'm from Everett and this place reminds me of Narrative from down there, so I was very pleased and knew my drink was in good hands. I love a place that serves matcha and its cousins without sweeteners or other powders mixed into it. I really prefer the earthy, toasty bitter flavor of green tea on its own and the hojicha didn't disappoint. The staff were also friendly, informed, and were ready to recommend me to another nearby restaurant that was open and catered to my dietary restrictions. The ambience of the seating area was also nice lots of natural light and spacious arrangements. Overall pleasant experience!
