Crossroads Cafe - Beech Island

I hadn't visited this restaurant in nearly a decade, but I'm glad I returned. The food was delicious and served hot, and the ambiance really captures a charming country restaurant vibe. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys country cooking!

Last week, I dined in the restaurant, and this week, I ordered takeout—it was still fantastic! The food is amazing, and I will definitely be returning. The meatloaf is outstanding! Next Wednesday, I'm going to try the chicken and dumplings.

I visited for the first time and tried the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and field peas. Everything was delicious, and the staff were very friendly as well!

The meals have generally been good at this restaurant, but today I had the worst food ever. The fried chicken was overcooked and resembled a piece of wood, the rice was overboiled and mushy, the fried okra tasted oddly like fish, and the corn bread was the only decent part of the meal. It was a waste of money, but I’ll survive. Hopefully, it will be better next time.
