Becks - Augusta

Oysters, hush puppies, fish and chips all phenomenal.

Dined at Beck's on Saturday evening. Table requested was honored...thanks! Server appeared right away, and drinks and appetizers were served promptly despite the restaurant being already busy. Dinner was awesome.....I had Shrimp Bisque and the Seafood Stuffed Flounder, their signature dish, and it was delicious as always. Wife had Short Ribs and loved them. Son had the Beet Salad and the Seafood Stuffed Flounder too. Food and service could not have been better......absolutely superb, and the vibe is always fun and enjoyable! The prices are very reasonable, even lower than what one might perceive they would be in a place offering such a great experience. All this is what makes Beck's not only consistently amazing, but consistently one of the top 2-3 restaurants in Augusta. Fantastic job and kudos to owner John, to the entire staff, and to the great and talented Chef. See you all again soon. THE place to go to enjoy fine dining amongst your equally discerning friends.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We loved the booth we were seated in, but it was a bit dark. Our only suggestion would be to add some low ambient lighting in that area. The Savage Blonde oysters were amazing and the Green Jacket salad was fantastic as well.

Good as ever!!! Good food, drinks and ambience with the nicest wait staff in town- Ann and Sarah are like family!

Great work by all the staff. I just wish we had been seated in the dining room instead of the small hallway near the bathroom.
