Upper Room Cafe 2 - Beaufort

My son and I were riding and trying to decide what we wanted to eat. I saw this restaurant and shouted Upper Room? soul and seafood. Sounds like a place we want to eat. We both had the seafood platter. The fish and shrimps were very fresh and cooked to order. The fries were crispy as they should be. The owner was so pleasant. Wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back again and again.

Absolutely awesome southern soul food!! Owner was a super friendly guy who sat and talked to me about life and his business...you have to go try the smothered pork chop and beans and okra with the chicken pilau! I'll definitely be back there soon and hopefully he does his breakfast buffet he talked about starting up!!

If you blink, you might miss it! Upper Room is located on the bustling Boundary Street in Beaufort, and I’m glad I took a second glance and decided to drop in. You can enjoy fresh, made-to-order dishes or choose from the buffet. And don’t miss out on trying the fish – it’s excellent!

I'm definitely going back! It's like enjoying home-cooked meals without any of the hassle. It's not just another burger place, although they do have burgers on the menu if you're in the mood for one.

The food here is fantastic, and the owner is amazing. I highly recommend this place!
