Bidrage med feedbackFirst of all paid 350 for a booth that was small as s*it. No hospitality at ALL I had to find the Jeremy guy just to get the bottle for our table. Oh not to mention ANY and EVERYBODY can walk through your booth. We drove five hours from Oxford Mississippi to this bull cramp!! I don’t recommend but i heard this the safety club to come to in Baton Rouge.
I came in for some nachos and it was a nice portion size and fresh and was pretty good , but the bartenders they both were courteous , will have to come back
Good vibe and food, but when you have bartenders trying to overcharge your card, that is never a good. Even though I tipped him, I guess he thought I wouldn't notice what he did. Smh, I try to support local businesses but will have to take this one of my list.
I was in the Grind tonight and where do I begin... So, it was a slow evening. I brought my nephew and my God-kids to have fun at Quarters. I don't like arcade games all that much, so I took on the role of snooty chaperone. While the kids were playing, I went into the Grind to get something to eat. The hostess promptly greeted me and I couldn't see her face because she was wearing a mask (good on her! , but I could see the smile in her eyes and hear it in her voice. She apologized in advance because there was only one waitress on duty tonight and it may be a long wait for my order and service. I appreciated the forewarning and I went in anyway. I mean, what else was I going to do? The kids were playing and I wasn't going out there! So I waited and skimmed over the menu that the hostess so kindly handed to me. I didn't have a big appetite; so, I decided on getting apps. I picked the cheese bombs and the small loaded fries. You can never have too much cheese! When the waitress arrived, she greeted me nicely and offered to take my drink order. I gave her my full order and she went to work. It did take a while, but I was apprised of the situation, so it was expected. When the food arrived, it was piping hot! The bacon on the loaded fries was cooked perfectly and I loved that the ranch dressing that it was served with was cool. The cool dressing allowed me to eat the hot fries with the molten lava cheese immediately and not have to wait between bites for it to cool. The cheese bombs were good also; but for that, I would have rathered the marinara to be hot. I closed out that order and when the kids were ready to eat, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with drinks, and as the crowd picked up, the waitress worked that room and never complained. She was great! I know that she had to be tired, but she never showed it. I gave four stars because the food was good, but there needs to be more wait staff working for efficiency. But then I thought about it, the staff that was present was one point. The hostess checked in on me to see how I was feeling and if I was enjoying my meal. The waitress, though she was stretched thin, was very present and thoughtful. And there was a gentleman (he may have been the manager who spoke to me a few times. He spoke to me as if we were familiar and that was comforting. As I was leaving out he thanked me for coming with a soft touch on the shoulder. So, now, I'm giving the Grind 5 stars because for me--it's about the little things. This was my first time coming in, and I'm glad that I did. My kids had a blast and I had a good, quiet meal. It was a good evening!
I have ate a ton of wings in my lifetime. These wings are some of the best. They are smoked for hours then grilled or fried and tossed in sauce. Will be coming back. 75 cent wings on Wednesday. Support a local place while your in BR.
