Modesto Tacos Tequila Whiskey

I am always cautious when dining out in a new city, especially when trying Mexican cuisine. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The staff, including our server Steven, were friendly, skilled, and efficient. The chips were delicious and plentiful. We opted for the trio of salsas and particularly enjoyed the spicy black bean salsa. The tacos were made with fresh tortillas and high-quality ingredients. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and was delighted to find that not only was the plate hot, but the enchiladas were as well, and the tortillas were not soggy. The restaurant was clean and the music was at a pleasant volume, allowing for easy conversation. One more thing...their selection of tequila was impressive. I can't wait to make this restaurant a regular stop whenever I'm near LSU.

I love this restaurant! I always begin with their tasty queso and order the Birria tacos. The food is served quickly and hot. The staff is very attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is enjoyable both inside and outside. I have visited a few times and have never been disappointed. Modesto is fantastic!

The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional, and the ambiance was lovely. It was a perfect night out for LSU Family Weekend. Our server was amazing - they were very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. The drinks were also delicious. I tried the pineapple/jalapeño margarita (okay, I had two), my wife had a top shelf margarita, and our daughter had a berry flavored one. All of them were excellent! The tacos were fantastic and my brisket torta was outstanding. We will definitely be returning!

This was my first time back at Modesto in probably a year or so and I'll definitely come back. The service was great and the tacos were SO good. I got the carne asada which was spicier than I thought it would be but super flavorful. And I also got the Baja fish which was super crispy and I might have to get two of next time :

Tried this place recently and I quite enjoyed it! Nice atmosphere and good service. I'm a big fan of elderflower, so I liked the Rocca Springtime Spritz. We got the queso dip, which was delicious and a great way to prep us for the tacos. I got the Chicken Adobo and Cabo Shrimp tacos and they were quite good.
