Mellow Mushroom - Baton Rouge

Amber, our server, was fantastic! Her smile was so refreshing! We enjoyed the pepperoni cheese bread, meatball trio, Funky Q pizza, and the Sourcing Festival calzone. The food and atmosphere were both wonderful! I can't wait to return and try the frozen Coke!

One of my favorite pizzas in town! I've tried many places across the city, but this one stands out.

My wife and I have dined here three times, and every meal has been excellent. While the atmosphere isn't particularly stunning—it's mainly geared towards a college crowd—we always feel at home, even though we're in our 60s and nearing 70. The food is truly what stands out, with a diverse menu that caters to every taste. The dress code is casual, as you'd expect for a college setting. Surprisingly, we haven't tried their pizza yet, which seems to be a signature item. Instead, we've sampled several appetizers, soups, and other dishes, all of which were very good. However, the standout for us was the meatball appetizer—it’s like a complete meal in itself and absolutely delicious.

Excellent food! I love the Mighty Meaty Pizza!!! That with a stout and you have a real meal. Every time I eat at the Mellow Mushroom, I know that the food is very good and the service is friendly. If you are in the area, stop one and have a slice or two or a whole pizza. Good stuff!

I can't to this restaurant with a large some of friends and family. We had a great time! There were so many choices for each of the pizza's along with even more selections on the menu. The pizza itself was also a great size with amazing flavor. The crust was my favorite part but that's just me. I would defiantly recommend Mellow Mushroom if you have the occational pizza itch.
