Highland Coffees - Baton Rouge

The blonde server didn't seem very enthusiastic about being there, which made it a bit awkward when I requested my black tea. However, aside from that, the place is fantastic.

She took our order and prepared our drinks. We ordered two iced lattes with oat milk, one of which had a flavor added, which should have totaled around $10. My daughter also ordered a blended fruit drink, which was about $5, so my pre-tax total should have been around $16. However, when I received the bill, I was charged $22.25. I went ahead and paid, but then I asked her to explain how she arrived at that price. She mentioned it was due to tax, but after some back-and-forth, it became clear that she couldn't justify the overcharge. I left feeling cheated. If she was just looking for a tip, she could have been more straightforward about it. There were a few other issues during our visit as well, but I don’t have time to list them all. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience!

First, and foremost, outstanding coffee! Roaster on site. Very prompt service. The atmosphere was great. Roomy and calm. Nice little patio area set back from the street. SO happy to find this place.

Fabulous coffee! I got a decaf vanilla iced latte it was perfect!! Not too sweet, creamy, delicious! The chocolate muffin was also excellent very soft. The staff is very friendly helpful. There are lots of seating choices and wifi. I really enjoyedmy time there. ????

The coffee here is outstanding, particularly the cold steeped iced coffee. The hot brewed coffee is also fantastic, as they roast their own beans.
