Frankies Dawg House - Baton Rouge

Really charming little spot. They are so friendly and love dogs! Every time we come our pup gets a free hot dog. It's a small little shack with a homey feel. Great spot for lunch on a sunny day with outdoor seating in front and in back. The Chicago dog is delicious and so is the crawfish dog. The service is a little slow when it gets busy because there is only 1 or 2 people in the kitchen and there is only one grill but it is worth the wait.

Superb experience every time it?s almost like you are walking into your favorite aunts house the owners are so hands-on you feel comfortable before you even taste the food we always like to sit on the patio great view great weather and theThe lemonade OMG

We arrived maybe an hour or so before closing but luckily we were able to still get some food. Everything was just how it looked nothing spectacular but good enough. Some of the food was on the colder side but maybe since it was close to the end of the day. On the pricier side but portions are decent and plenty of outdoor seating. There?s also a cute kitty that lives on the property!

I was looking for a great hotdog in the baton rouge area and ended up here for my lunch on the other day. my food came out, fast and fresh. great decor, had a good time.

After a visit at the knock knock museum to the late lunch. delicious! I love the atmosphere. the best dawgs in the state. I had swung, sneezed and I was grilled on my dawg. it was great. my daughter had the alligator with grilled swirl. it was really good, too. I'm sure it will come back.
