Carl's Jnr - Bateau Bay

After eagerly anticipating our return for two years due to the exceptional quality of the old-fashioned milkshakes and overall high standards, we were disappointed with our recent visit. The strawberry milkshake tasted watered-down and cheap, lacking the rich flavor we remembered. The Santa Fe burger was disappointing with an oversalted, tough patty and excessive chipotle mayo. The milkshake my companion ordered was also lacking in quality. The differences between his Carl's Jr. cheeseburger and the kids' cheeseburger seemed minimal, with the only distinguishable factor being a tomato slice and pickles on the adult version. It appears that cost-cutting measures have compromised the once exceptional experience we had at this strip mall location on the central coast.

The waffle fries were cold and unappetizing, the burger bun was very cold, but the bark was mild and warm. The bacon was chewy, and we had to use the drive-thru because there was no service inside. There were no napkins provided, so we had to use the paper bags to clean our faces. Overall, our monthly treat was ruined by this bad dining experience.

I dined here with a group of adults and children. The adults all agreed that McDonald's set the standard for fast food. The children enjoyed the shakes and some of the sides, but overall found the experience to be quite average. The burgers did not live up to their advertised appearance in pictures. Personally, I do not plan on returning as the prices were not cheap.

Should have gone to the makula. they claim that food is freshly cooked. chips were old and my cheeseburger was dry and burned. partner had heated the western burger to any case again.

Decided to have lunch at this restaurant today, that was my first mistake, burgers and fries came to the table and found they were far from hot, looking around the restaurant while waiting for our drinks we found the place to be in a disgustingly...filthy state, food and rubbish all over the floors, not one employee was cleaning up or inspecting the restaurant, only one toilet was operating. People were leaving tables after finishing their meals and tables not being cleaned and other patrons then sitting down at the same table. I eventually approached the counter and asked where our drinks were, they asked what type, surely it was still on the monitor to be served, had to show them my order/receipt, when I was offered my drinks I told them exactly what I thought of their establishment only to be met with blank vacant stares from the employee. Very hypocritical of the employees, wearing masks and claiming to be hygienic and COVID safe while allowing patrons to dine in filth. Will never ever return to this restaurant nor recommend them to anyone else.
