Coach Stop Inn - Bar Harbor

That was my first stay at the Coach Stop Inn and I will definitely be back! It feels like being at home with all the personal touches. The Abbe room was spacious with 2 rooms (one with a couch and TV) and a small entrance hall. Each bed had a water bottle and chocolate waiting. Every day there were different candy available in the dining area. The living room had ceilings that we were able to sunset in Cadillac Mountain. Anna was a great host!

My husband and I stayed during the down season but the Inn was still booked and I can see why! The place was cozy and full of character. Our room was such a treat (Abbi room) and much larger than expected. Separate bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets and blankets were high quality! Everything was immaculately clean. As you can see by other posts, breakfast explains itself!! In the evenings you can help yourself to coffee, tea and fresh baked cookies. I wish we could have stayed longer as it was so relaxing!! Thank you Jim and Anna!!

We had a great stay at the Coach Stop Inn! The room was cozy with lots of space, bathroom was very clean. Anna served a great breakfast and provided amazing cookies in the afternoon. Communication was always easy and fast. We would definitely stay here again to explore Acadia.

Wow! Jim Anna are the best innkeepers we’ve ever had. They go above and beyond every day! The breakfast is gourmet. The inn is so comfortable and quaint. Every afternoon there’s also homemade desserts and coffee/tea readily available. They always made sure we had everything we needed and more! Whenever I tell people about our stay here, it brings a tear to my eye. Genuine people!

Coach Stop! We can't say enough wonderful things about this charming B B. They thought of EVERYTHING to make our stay enjoyable and convenient. We chose the Somes Sound room, and it did not disappoint! The queen-size bed was super comfortable, the room was spotless, the bathroom is huge and well-stocked, and communication was perfect. The little touches like charger stations, an umbrella for walking to breakfast in the rain, extra towels, bottles of water, and double luggage racks were so thoughtful! Coach Stop is in the perfect location north of Bar Harbor, so you aren't staying in the middle of all the noise, traffic, and tourists. Check-in could not have been easier. Parking was just steps from our little patio (btw, a delightful place to read early in the mornings. Plus, there are snacks (coffee, tea, and cookies in the main house every evening! The best part of all were the innkeepers, Jim Anna. What PRECIOUS people! Anna greeted us at the door for breakfast and bent over backward to make sure we had everything we could want! And Jim is the chef ...oh my! Even with our many food allergies, he created the most inventive gourmet meals for us! They were the most delicious of our entire vacation! (His Eggs Benedict alone was worth the drive to Bar Harbor! Not to mention the ginger lime watermelon.
